Can be normal: Tylenol (acetaminophen) or advil will sometimes only take the fever down 1-2 degrees. If your baby is drinking enough to stay hydrated and is reasonably comfortable it's ok to wait until tomorrow to talk with your doctor. You can keep using over the counter fever reducers to keep your baby comfortable.

Fever: Fever is a symptom not a disease. The response to an drug like tylenol (acetaminophen) or advil does not have any predictive value. What you should be asking your self is what else is happening? Rash, vomiting, diarrhea, pain, etc and concentrate on that and if that is bothering your infant, then call your dr. If not you can wait and see if the temp resolves within a day or so. If u are worried, call.
