Could be: Many things can cause skipped or irregular periods. If you have pain, it could be due to a cyst. Sometimes there can be irregular hormone production, or failure to ovulate that can cause late or skipped periods; also things like stress can cause irreg menses, or thyroid problems. Some lab testing and sonogram are needed to find out exactly whats going on.
