Temperatures: Vary normally in everyone each day. Up to 100.4 is a normal temperature and vary with activity, outside temperature. I do not know if you mean temperatures in this range or above. Fevers can be a sign of cancer but they would be above 100.4 and they could be constant or intermittent.

FUO: One of the causes of fever of unknown origin can be malignancy(especially lymphoma). Infections and connective tissue diseases are more common causes of fuo. The fever could fluctuate or be constant in malignancy.
