Unprotected sex: A woman usually ovulates 14 days prior to the onset of her next menses. Unless you're extremely regular predicting ovulation can be tricky. If you are aware of body changes associated with ovulation ie. Thin stretchy mucus for 2-3 days prior to; you can have sex up to 4 days prior to ovulation and not conceive. The egg can be fertilized for 24 hrs; you can have sex two days after ovulation.
