You haven't: Provided enough information to help you. Diabetes can present suddenly, and involves failure of the beta cell function of the pancreas. I don't know what you mean by "pancreas failing". If it's the beta cell function, that's what's causing the diabetes. I also don't know what medication your were placed on or what your "bad reaction" involved. You need to discuss all these areas with your doctors.
