It will heal: Biting your tongue, just like biting your cheek can be pretty painful for a while until it heals. The best thing you can do is to try not to bite it again, keep it free from bacteria and rinse with warm salt water until it goes away. If it is not subsiding after a week or so, see your dentist for an evaluation.
