A member asked:

I am a hypochodriac. will my dr still treat me for something i really have or will i just be blown off?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor-patient: Develop relationship. We, as physicians, have the responsibility to treat anyone the same and to the best of our ability. When our emotions interfere, we should and really should suggest that the patient sees another doctor who they can relate to better and who can treat them without bias. We do try to understand but there are times we still get affected, we are humans, but should know our limits.
