Yes: Slight variations in periods are normal. The fact that you period was heavy means that it is very unlikely that you are pregnant. However, if you are worried you should do a home pregnancy test.

It can be.. : A normal variation. I am always concerned about pregnancy when patients have abnormal bleeding. Check a test.
