Mucocele: It is likely a mucocele from some type of irritation or bite trauma. This can cause a mucous filled, painless cyst to develop. It may fluctuate in size for a while. If it gets larger, sometimes it is necessary to remove it as a minor office surgical procedure . It is not a dangerous condition. It could be other things but these cysts are very common.
