Post pregnancy?: Telogen effluvium is common after having a baby. The sudden change in hormone levels causes the hair follicles to shut down for a while. This will get better on its own, but hard to say exactly how long. Other causes: vitamin deficiency, some meds. Give it time; most likely hair will start to grow back soon. Treatment with Minoxidil may be used for severe cases.
