Sadly...: The weight that can be gained while using Depo-Provera doesn't usually go away just by stopping the medication. For most people, the medication wears off by the end of the 3 months, but it can (rarely) stay in a persons system fo rmany months, just impossible to know.

Depo shot long gone: The Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) medication is long gone by now, however weight loss requires caloric discipline and exercise over several weeks.
