Wife seems to have had bad reaction to clindamycin a year ago. c-diff negative, but now ibs symptoms. what's the best probiotic to help resolve?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Your choice: People with irritable bowel syndrome (ibs) may benefit from the addition of a probiotic. Ibs is a general term which covers a variety of non specific GI complaints which have no absolute pathological cause. I suggest a well balanced diet which includes fruits, vegetables, and other fibre. I also suggest addition of yogurt to the diet. A probiotic is equal to about 10 yogurts a day.Any brand is ok.
