Careful...: Be sure your butterbur prep is free of liver toxic pyrrolizidine alkaloids (common contaminants) which increase interaction with drugs like zofran (ondansetron) ( cytochrome p450 metabolizers). Drug interaction present. Doubt serious issue for you. Check with your prescription writing doc- neurologist or primary doc.

There are many traditional abortive medications that are fda approved with sufficient data of evidence based medicine. Rec. Consult with headache or orofacial pain specialist.
