Twitching in lips, what could be the cause of this? is it normal?

Depends.. : Localized twitching on one side, usually in just one lip, is fairly common. This tends to go away after a day or two, but it is pretty annoying when it's there. Twitching that involves one side of the mouth, but also the muscles around the eye on that side, is from a different problem. Twitching that is on both sides of the mouth is usually from medications, anxiety, or some metabolic things.
