Is cyclizine safe to take in pregnancy?

Likely yes, but...: Cyclizine is classified as fda category b, which means studies in animals show no increased risk but there has not been enough data in humans to say for sure. One study in humans showed no difference in rates of congenital anomalies. This means it is probably ok to use. You should not use it in the last 2 weeks of pregnancy as there is a small association with "retrolental fibroplasia.".

Cyclizine: Cyclizine is in the fda pregnancy category b. This means that it is unlikely to harm an unborn baby, but it is always best to call and tell/discuss with your OB dr. Best wishes.
