I have been diagnosed a ganglion cyst. what is it made of?

Synovial lining: Ganglion cyst is a ruptured synovial capsule which is the shock absorber between bones. The fluid leaks out and is contained by a fibrous capsule which is the cyst.

Thick fluid: Fluid from a joint or tendon sheath leaks into the ganglion sac..The more water soluble elements diffuse out, leaving a thicker gelatin like substance.

Fibrous wall & fluid: It is made of an outer wall of fibrous connective tissue and filled with a thick viscous synovial fluid like center composed primarily of hyaluronic.
