Hard to know: When a woman has a little blood on toilet paper after wiping, the blood is either coming from the uterus or vagina. Causes could be a growth on the cervix (polyp), a growth in the uterus (polyp or fibroid), the hormones could be off, there might be a cervical or vaginal infection. Missing a period often means pregnancy. If the period is late you could check a pregnancy test.
