Probable UTI: Sounds like a urinary tract infection (UTI) and possile vaginal infection. Uti risk increases during pregnancy. Get urine cultured, tested for vaginal infections, stds and treated asap. A culture guides antibiotic choice. Untreated utis appear to increase risk of developmental disorders. A new study of Nitrofurantoin (macrobid), thought safe in pregnancy, shows increases in major birth defects.
