My lips stick together when i talk making it difficult to carry on a conversation. i feel the need to lick them which i know is drying. this has been ongoing for many years. it really embarrassing.

Hydrate: Must hydrate a lot. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day (12oz.) each.

Dry mouth: You may not be producing enough saliva and thus the dry mouth. People with this order also tend to have dry eyes and multiple dental cavities as well. Check with your doctor but may try sucking on sugar-free lemon drop to see if it helps.

Dry mouth syndrome : is a constant discomfort that affects basic functions of your life, such as eating, swallowing, talking and sleeping. It is often socially embarrassing despite its seemingly insignificant, but can be a big problem. There are different ways to treat dry mouth. See your dentist for evaluation and proper treatment.
