Question why you are checking yours at home that often though? Have the dr. Treat you BP and usually only a few readings at certain times are necessary, that you can bring to the dr. For data. Anxiety worsens it.

BP checks & pain: No, no nerve damage could occur from checking the blood pressure this often. The arm may be sore from compression of the muscles, that is all. Why is the blood pressure being checked 20x per day?
