what are reasons that hpv doesn't spread when sharing food, drinking from same glass etc.? is it because of the very small amount of virus?

HPV: This virus is transmitted by direct skin to skin contact and will die quickly outside the body. It is conceivable that it could be transmitted by inanimate objects but not generally by an oral route where saliva should destroy the virus. Immediate sharing of a dildo may provide transfer of the virus from person to person.
