Is it an indicator of a medical condition we should be concerned about if our newborns blood type is a+ and my wife and i's blood type are both o+?

Check the blood type: It's not an indication of a medical problem, but i would double check the information you have on your blood types and make sure they are what you have stated. It would not be possible for 2 parents with type o blood to have a baby with type a blood.
