Against pregnancy?: A woman who takes her birth control pills correctly is fully protected against pregnancy (which is very high but not 100%, with oral contraceptives), on her second pack of pills. However, the pills don't protect against infections like papilloma virus (hpv), chlamydia, gonorrhea, etc...
