I have had outer ear infections like 30 times in the past year and they gave me ear drops but is there any thing i can do to prevent them again?

Ask for culture...: Make sure the drainage form the ears has been cultured. If it is bacteria or yeast makes a huge difference, especially in recurrent infections. If this is caused by yeast and you are getting antibiotic drops, they are just going to make matters worse. Avoid use of ear buds. Also keep ear canals dry - use a hair dryer on low or air setting after you shower/bathe/swim to dry out canal decreases infx.
