Unlikely: It is unlikely that you would ovulate while on Medroxyprogesterone acetate. However, if you did ovulate, and by chance conceived, this medication would not necessarily cause a miscarriage. It is not generally a medication that we'd give during pregnancy, but if only taken around the time of conception, it probably would not cause a problem with the embryo.
