Dissociative disorders--how weird can they be?

Disconcerting: Dissociative disorders can impair one's normal state of awareness and limits, or alter one's state of identity, memory, or consciousness. One can "lose" large portions of time, or find one's self in a place without recalling going there. Such experiences can feel very "weird" and confusing to the person. Also, they may show up as physical symptoms -- further confusing diagnosis and treatment.

Very weird indeed: The weirdness can consist of the following: receiving directions to go somewhere, including out of country, by someone or for reasons you do not know, coming home after a night out and finding blood and semen and bruises on you that you have no recollection of. Having alters that think they are animals, eating dog food for years and not knowing it, being tortured at night, having spirit alters etc.
