Yes, generally : Speaking. Spo2 refers to any oxygen saturation obtained by using pulse oximetry, the type of absorption spectrophotometry - that is why "p" is added. It will reasonably accurately show the percentage of oxygenated hemoglobin in the individual's blood at the wide range of inspired oxygen concentrations - from room air to a 100% o2.
