Can i just quit taking my atorvastatin 40mg safely if i jus do it cold turkey?

Can stop: There should be no withdrawal symptoms if you abruptly stop it. It will take days before it's effect on serum lipids wear off. Let your physician know what you're doing and he or she will order followup blood tests for the proper time.
