HPV: If your bf has hpv the overwhelming probability is that you also have it. It might be advisable for you to be checked and to have the vaccine. There are two different vaccines and not sure what is generally used in uk, but am certain your gynecologist will be helpful. Good luck.

No reason to stop: Dr. Raff is correct. You almost certainly already have whatever strain he has. There's no reason to take time off from a complete relationship. Almost everybody has a few strains of hpv. Simply stay vigilant and the bug is unlikely to cause an untreatable cancer in either of you. Get the vaccine to cover you for strains you haven't met.
