A member asked:

I have muscle spasms a lot could it be caused from gastric bypass surgery?

Possibly.: You do not mention where the muscle spasms are. If it's abdominal muscle spasms it makes it more likely related to the gastric surgery. You can certainly have muscle spasms in your legs is a normal event even if you haven't had any surgery.

Cramps: It is possible that you may have developed a nutritional deficiency and that can cause you to have muscle cramps. It's best to see your surgeon and have your bloodwork checked.
