Many good treatments: There are many good, effective treatments for copd. They include inhalers, nebulized medications, and there is even a new pill for COPD (but it is only for those who have severe disease). Oxygen can also be prescribed for those who need it. The most important thing is to get evaluated by your doctor so he/she can place you on a good treatment plan.

Treatments...: Treatments include bronchodilator and steroid inhalers as well as oxygen therapy, if the blood oxygen level is low enough to warrant it. Smoking cessation is the most vital therapy. Other treatments depend on the individual's evaluation as well as response to the above treatments.
