I had many ct scans (hida, upper gi, and abdominal pelvic w/wo contrast). this was up to 55 msv of radiation. is it true i could get cancer from this?

If possible avoid: If medically indicated , radiological procedures are safe , needless procedure are dangerous , especially ct scans with out indications .In fukushima people exposed to 100 msv had increased risk of cancer . You are a very intelligent patient guard yourself do not under go needless tests , discuss with your doctors before each test for alt.Test, we are all exposed from environment 3.6 msv /yr.
