Pain in the butt!: Anal pain does not have too many reasons. Some of them are hemorrhoids, anal fissures or abscess. If you see any bleeding in your stool, you should see a general surgeon for proper evaluation. Some other causes may be related to the tailbone issues and could be neurological if there is no external sign. Proper evaluation is a must. Good luck.
