Either one: When the inhaler is used properly with good technique, it can provide as much bronchodilation as a nebulizer dose. For those patients with poor coordination, the elderly or very young, the nebulizer may be easier to use.

Mgt suggestion: I would recommend using the inhaler with a spacer device. This will allow delivery of the medication and is convenient to use.
