Medical assessment: Tapeworm symptoms: GI tapeworm infection symptoms may include: weight loss, weakness, decreased appetite, nausea, loose stools and abdominal pain. Invasive tapeworm infection symptoms: fever, cysts, seizures (other neurologic or allergic sxs). Diagnosis is made by medical eval & testing. Testing includes Stool sample analysis, Testing blood for antibodies & radiologic imaging of cysts.
