Nothing on your own: Hi. You need to see a doctor comfortable with treating hyperthyroidism, usually an endocrinologist. The options are !0 do nothing (an option in mildly hyper nodules), 2) thyroid suppressing medicines (like methimazole), 3) radioactive iodine (don't worry about the name - it's a great treatment & very, VERY safe), and almost NEVER 4) cut the thyroid out. Often become hypothyroid from treatment.
