A member asked:

Is there an con against allowing parents to engage in genetic screening ?

Depends?: If parents are concerned about passing on a condition to potential children, it is not a bad idea. If you are concerned that your parents are wanting a test, well, that's a loaded question. But i suppose if your mom or dad has something genetic, you may want to know about it.
