See endocrinologist: Hi. Pituitary tumors cause harm by producing pituitary hormones, by harming normal pituitary fraction, and/or by mass effect on vital structures. Depending on the tumor, the treatment may be with medicine, surgery and maybe post-operative medicines and/or radiation therapy. Sometimes after treatment, there are pituitary hormone deficiencies that need to be treated. Good luck!

Pituitary tumor: There are a number of treatments that are available for a pituitary tumor. First you need a consultation with an endocrinologist to determine the type as some can be treated medically, if not then a consultation with a neurosurgeon and a neurologist would be recommended.
