Treat the cause: This depends what is causing the temporary blindness and blurred vision to occur, and how temporary the temporary blindness is. If it's due to chemical burns or causes that are more problematic, and impossible to heal by themselves. If its from dermatitis, or dry eyes, that is easier. Always refract first to to see what the best corrected vision is. Then move forward. Need more info to help you out.

Temp blindness: If you are having temporary blindness, you need to get checked out by an eye specialist ASAP. Temporary blindness, also known as amaurosis fugax, can be a sign of impending stroke or other fatal or debilitating conditions. You may need a doppler ultrasound study of the carotid arteries.
