If you get taken to the hospital for alcohol intoxication do they test your level?

Among other things: Usually this means someone was brought to the ed for some change in mental status, so a few things might be checked. Depending on the situation, everything might not be checked every time, but options include glucose, urine looking for signs of infection/dehydration. Symptoms are correlated w physical exam and labs.

Yes: If you are taken to the hospital for being intoxicated, your blood alcohol level will be tested. You may tested for other things that may cause altered mental status, e.g.Urine drug screen, blood glucose etc.
