Dental Insurance: You have to find a job that offers dental insurance as a benefit. To date, at least in my state of new york, I have yet to see and decent dental insurance plan that one can buy as an individual and not as a member of a group plan. The low cost plans that you pay $100/year +/- merely give you a list of dentists that participate in the plan. I'm not impressed with the quality of care there. In tx?

I wish I could: Dental insurance usually only available through group policies at your workplace .Very few individual policies exist. Try searching Dental Insurance on your browser.

Your best option is to be part of a group with multiple members to spread the fees amongst multiple members reducing the premium. If you belong to any groups, review information to see if they offer dental benefits. Most require ongoing membership as they are not looking for members that need immediate care which affects the existing members benefits.
