Can you tell me, are cfl lightbulbs bad for eyesight and do they create mental illness or alter moods?

Light and emotions: There are some indiviiduals who are very sensitive to Alternating Current (AC) light . Since AC current is 60 cycles, this means the lights are actually turning off and on every 60 seconds as the current reverses. Most people cannot see the on/off pulses; however, this cycle can trigger seizures in some. There could people whose mood is affected by the cycling of the lights on/off.
