Yes: Yes, viral illness can cause night sweats, and so can many other things (tuberculosis, leukemia/lymphoma, opportunistic infections, menopause, hot nights, etc, etc). If they persist, see your doctor for a thorough evaluation and diagnostic tests. Good luck!
