Can you tell me, how best to handle acne in pregnant women?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Topicals: Topical benzoyl peroxide, perhaps with added topical clindamycin, is safe. You can't take oral tetracycline, period. I would be reluctant to use spironolactone even topically because of its hormonal effects. You'll also want to avoid retinoic acid derivatives even topically. Let your physician know.
