A member asked:

Is there a chance i will have hiv. i have not had a rash so i may not. how long would the rash last?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Get tested.: The only way to know if you have HIV is to get tested for hiv. Not all people with HIV develop a rash, and many people with rashes do not have hiv. Rash is nonspecific for HIV versus other things. If you have any concern that you may be HIV positive, then visit a clinic or doc office and get tested and discuss the results with someone who has experience and can give you good information.
