Major mystery: Nobody knows why one person gets it and the next person doesn't. I was able to stop taking medication for mine around age 50. It's not related to hygiene or lifestyle and only marginally to diet. In women, it may be an indicator of an imbalance in the hormones. In men, it's a puzzler. The key is that it's manageble with scientific medication rather than 'pop' / 'hygiene' advice.
