Maybe : You can't be diagnosed online, but this sounds a lot like a condition called vaginismus. Vaginal dilators tend to be best for women who have pain because of unusually small anatomy, in vaginismus the problem is involuntary tensing and contracting of muscles. You'd need an exam to know, but there is help available either way.
