A member asked:

Can i take timonium or parasetamol if i suffer from hepatitis a?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends: If you are still in a phase of the infection where the virus is active or you are recovering, it would be appropriate to abstain from any Acetaminophen (paracetamol) containing agents. If you have recovered, then taking doses not exceeding those recommended on the package (or mixed with alcohol) should be ok. Always best to check with your physician if you are not aware of your status.
