A member asked:

Dr., i like to ask what is the highest factor for a person to have liver cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Risk factor, right?: I'm assuming you were not given thorium dioxide in the 1950's for a radioactive liver scan. Probably hemochromatosis. Hepatitis b is probably second, followed by hepatitis c. Alcohol abuse progressed to cirrhosis is probably a risk factor as well.
