Several: There is a some genetic preponderance, but lifestyle really has much more to do with it. Diseases such as viral hepatitis can increase the risk dramatically. Chronic alcohol abuse and cirrhosis also increase the risk. There are certain genetic diseases which then lead to liver cancer. Smoking also increases the risk.
